Re: Export a clip function for mobile app Post by terk Wed 4:12 pm You may be asking for the ability to get the entire clip without watching it however I'm guessing it would take just as long to convert file formats to one compatible with the mobile device. I get three red pop up boxes that each say: -An unspecified error occurred updating export status. You might also get a hint at what is going wrong if you look at the Blue Iris status window, Connections tab. Whenever I try to export a clip via UI3 it fails. If all else fails, you could try actually disabling cookies for the Blue Iris server address, as this should force UI3 to put the session string in all request URLs, and this will bypass any cookie problems. Im just wondering if theres a better way. If the other web service also uses a cookie named "session" then it could be overwriting your Blue Iris session cookie, making it invalid.ī) Misbehaving browser addon interfering with the session cookie.Ĭ) Misbehaving privacy setting preventing the session cookie from working correctly. As it stands at the moment, Im using UI3 to select the clips in batches and converting/exporting as needed, waiting for each clip file to transfer (from the NAS storage to the converting PC), process, then clicking save for each clip - not extremely tedious, but not a single operation either. Some possible reasons your session could be getting lost:Ī) Opening another web service at the same address (maybe on a different port number) in the same web browser. If it isnt coming up, you can load it manually by opening this path in your web browser, replacing xxxxxx with your Blue Iris servers IP address or host name and port number if necessary. It should be the default web interface in all browsers except Internet Explorer. Based on the first error message it looks like there is a problem with your Blue Iris web server session.ġ) Your session is getting lost from the browserĢ) Your session is being ended prematurely by Blue Iris.Ĭase #2 is very unlikely, so lets focus on #1. UI3 comes with Blue Iris 4.7.3 or newer, first released April 20, 2018. ![]()
